Choice Technologies specializes in office moves.  We help plan, design, coordinate, implement and support the office move process.

Unlike most network changes, office moves present a unique challenge.  Usually, adding new hardware or applications is a highly technical process.  The focus is on deploying the new product securely while minimizing any potential down time.

Office moves require much more management.  At Choice, we “quarterback” the entire process.  This begins with figuring out where cable runs need to go as well as the logistics of creating a new network closet.  We also coordinate with 3^rd party vendors such as Internet Service Providers to make sure that things like phone systems and Internet connections are delivered on time.  Another challenge is reestablishing any remote access and connections with other offices.  We handle this process with professionalism and organization that allows office moves to be as painless as possible.

Finally, office moves are usually a good time to consider making major network changes.  If you are going to have to be down while hardware is moving from one location to another, you might as well replace aging hardware, deploy a new software package, or reconfigure your wide area network at the same time.  Just like when we plan the move, the goal is reducing the total amount of down time to your organization.
